Yay for...um...right, Jon Meacham for this op-ed piece in the Times.
I would write stuff about it, but I think it's basically unnecessary (as much as the third 'n' I tried to put into "unnecessary" just now. Work, brain, work!).

That was a GREAT piece in the Times. Thanks for sharing it. I might just send it to my parents--my dad argues all the time that the wall of separation between church and state is meant to be a one-way wall: the state should hold no sway over the church, but church should impact state in a big way. Sometimes the frustration level mounts so high I can barely contain myself.
